4th of July

We hope everyone had a Happy 4th!

Dear Mom and Dad

Thank you for entertaining me while I was visiting.I had a great time and want to come back soon!! Thanks for letting me make plans for you guys and tag along!

My parents try and go golfing every Friday night.
Whoever wins gets to decide where they go eat afterwards.
I'm not a golfer and don't plan on becoming one any time soon :)

but I had a good time and enjoyed driving the cart.
(ps. My mom always wins!)

Oh how I miss these mountains!! I love hiking, especially when the trail is in your backyard!Park City- we enjoyed a nice weekend getaway to Midway with my sister and her family.  Of course Maggie (the dog) was able to tag along too! I think it was her first family vacation!

Days with Lenna

This is Lenna.
She is our one and only niece.

Being in Utah for a month, I got to hang out with her a lot

and loved every minute of it! 

We had sleepovers and went to the zoo, treehouse museum, swimming,
on bike rides, and to grandma's and grandpa's house.
We occasionally let her mom and grandma tag along.

Sometimes she loves me and sometimes she doesn't

but we still had fun together.

I miss her! :)

Family and Friends in Utah

One thing I miss most about living away is Family Parties.I love Summer BBQ's and Volleyball in my parent's backyard.They were kind enough and hosted many while I was in Utah. It's always great to see friends as well.I sure do miss these girls! 

Freedom Park

Todd just got home from biking with Rich and I haven't seen him this excited about biking in Virginia for a long time.  He told me I had to post this on our blog right away so his friends in Utah can see it!! He couldn't believe he found this type of mountain biking in Virginia.
