Our first visitor

My sister, Erika, came out to visit us this last week! It was so fun to have her here! She was so nice to come to help us pick out furniture for our house and decorated! She did an amazing job! I love it and I don't think I could have done it without her! I guess that's way she's the interior designer and I'm the nurse! I told her I would take care of Lenna any day if she decorates my house. Besides furniture shopping, painting and decorating, we were able to go up to DC for a day.

There are still a few things we need to do, but I'm just so happy we have furniture and a place to call home! Don't mind the empty picture frames, I still need to find pictures to put in them and we need to put the knobs on the cabinets. A full tour of our house is coming soon! (I just need to find a place for everything upstairs)

White Coat Ceremony

Todd is officially a medical student. The White Coat Ceremony was on Friday, August 13th. I'm so proud of Todd. He is going to make an excellence doctor! We went and celebrated afterwards at a Brazilian Restaurant with some of the other students.
It was delicious!

There are 12 students from Utah attending school with Todd. 5 of them are in our ward! It's nice to have so many students and their wives living so close!

Anniversary in Florida

Todd surprised me for my birthday and our anniversary with a trip to Orlando. We had so much fun. We spent one day at Universal Studios and one day at Islands of Adventure. I'm a big fan of Harry Potter so I loved the new Harry Potter World. They did an amazing job creating it and you feel like you're in Hogsmeade and at Hogwarts! In Hogsmeade they have the Hogswarts Express, the Owl Post, stores like Dervish and Banges, Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Zonkos, and Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods. You can eat at the Three Broomsticks and get Butterbeer at the Hog's Head. The rides are awesome especially Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. You go through all the passageways and classrooms at Hogwarts as you wait in line. They made everything look so real, even the portraits on the walls and the pictures in the newspaper would move and talk to you. I could go on and on about this ride. We both decided it is one of the best rides we've ever been on.

I highly recommend everyone to go there one day!

Colter Bay 2010

July 17th- July 24th

Colter Bay is my favorite trip! I love it there. Colter Bay is right on Jackson Lake and is surrounded by the Grand Tetons. It was so pretty! Todd and I always look forward to going every year. My grandpa started taking his kids when they were little and it's been a tradition ever since. All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins were there and it was fun to be with everyone before we moved. We always go over the 24th of July and since my birthday is on the 22nd, I usually get to celebrate up there!
